Adsense Clicks on Blogs

6:55 pm Adsense/Yahoosense/MSeNse

My impressions are still improving, and I’m closing in on $10 a day now with adsense….still the onlly difference being the blogs linked to each other. I haven’t even added any more yet, as I’m busy ‘tweaking’ the process of setting up more blogs. Gonna take a few days off & then blitz some more blogs starting over the weekend.

This is a post I made to a fellow IM’er about blogging for adsense dollars:

I think I can guess why your adsense has gone up . 2 reasons….
[1] You have your affiliate link open in a NEW WINDOW! Now especially with your post it notes, THIS IS GOOD! Because….its the first thing they see, and they are going to do one of TWO things..(a) click on post it note, and once its open in a new window they (i) buy or (ii) close the window. - ….If they close the post it note, your blog is still staring them right in the face….so they still have that “second chance” click on adsense I was talking about……

[2] The second reason your adsense goes up is by adding the post it notes, whether you know it or not, you are implementing a strategy called “reader involvement”….have you read Mark Joyner’s “Confidential Internet Intelligence Manuscript”? Well, his studies in that manuscript show that when a reader is ‘forced’ to click on a page (check box, links, etc ….or post it notes maybe) they become more likely to buy or click or sign up for whatever is on the page because they have now focused their attention manually to the page. So….even when they “close” the post it note, they are “more involved” with your page and are therefore more likely to click on the adsense which is now left in front of them.

Now of course I haven’t tested this theory yet, lol, but I am sure that this increases conversions because of the post it notes, = thinking outside the box and I too will implement them because of the reasons above.
