CraigsList Sucks

7:43 pm Random General Brainstormed Thoughts!

CraigsList Sucks for making money on the internet.
I recently got a report that claimed to show you how to.

Here was my review of it:

Okay now I know why no one wants to give a review.
It’s because this stupid method doesn’t work.

First off, let me say, that this ‘technique’ is very…. “black hat” or at the very least “deceptive”. It’s obvious what you’re tryna do. Well, CragsList is set up to delete and prevent fake dating programs.
Secondly, there is a ‘moral’ issue for some. So 2 things, you are being deceptive, you are breaking CL’s terms, and you are trying to deceive a bunch of horny guys…

If you get past that and you’re ok with it,…. well then you have to deal with the CraigsList monster.

since I got it, I went through all the steps & did everything the report says to do..Did nothing but this for the past 2 days.
No single ad of mine showed up. Just like I read on the main forum… they show up in the accounts, but never on CL.

The method is nice in theory…. but that’s where it ends.
Posting with proxies, doesn’t seem to do shit. The anonymizer I use doesn’t let me log in to Craigs list, so I couldn’t even post the ads. So i used another IP changer,…still nothing
A lovely waste of 2 days of my time, but at least I know N.T.T. mes with any craigsList method for marketing. You are fighting an uphill battle. If anyone ha a way to post this, feel free to PM or share with bozz so he can update this, but I have a feeling y’all are silent cos ain’t nuthin’ goin’ on….

To be fair, he does tell you in the report that your posts WILL be deleted, but not one even got posted for me. This is not a reliable method. It might work on some of the other sites he added to the list, but….I have only tested on Craigs list where it failed miserably.

Much later, I tried something else which sort of worked.
And here is the “secret”…. however it takes a shit load of work which I cannot automate, so I porbably won’t do it much f at all.

1) Scour CL for the “Wanted” section
2) email them with..
3) Your affiliate links for the thing they want.
4) Collect money.

Simple enough…. but to make real money you need to write real emails.
I did and made some money, but I hate writing emails.
So I tried something different:

1) Scour CL for the “Wanted” section
2) Collect their emails (even if it is the CraigsList ‘automatic email)
3) Add the email to your autoresponder
4) email them with..
5) Your affiliate links for the thing they want.
6) Send follow up emails over the next few days reminding them to get the product
7) More follow up emails pitching related services with your affiliate link of course
8) Collect money.

Guess what? This worked much better.
However;
a) Too much work collecting emails – i did it manually and it took me hours
b) Assholes reporting me as spam after receiving the first couple of mails heh heh….
c) Limitations on importing emails into autoresponders… although there is one service that does allow that ;-)

If I can automate the import of emails, I will go back to this because it was quite profitable albeit a tad tedious….
Need a programmer who can possibly collect emails from craigslist based on the section I wish to target….. hmmm….

There is a semi-automated way of quickly sending emails to Craigslist posts that I’ve discovered using free tools only.

I have a tool to autocollect all unique craigslist emails in any cat./country. Are you still interested in it?
