Internet Marketing Brainstorming!

Here’s a little update on my Commission Junction Program fiasco. Although I was making money with the program, I could actually have been making more.

I just found out that I was sending about 1/2 my traffic over to a friend’s affiliate link,…..not mine LOL!

Meaning….Over the last 3 weeks or so, I “gave my friend’s” Commission Junction Account….over $800 dollars….and they dont even know it yet.

See, a while back, once I started to ‘make it’ I decided to help someone who helped me earler on in my life when I needed it. She did everyhtign anyone could ever expect someone to do when one finds themselves in need. I never forgot it, vowing to pay her back one day. She’s old and sick now, but my way of paying her back was to help her make some cash online, so I setup some PPC campaigns for her. Didnt do that great but I also help her set up a few blogs as well.

Well, when my server crashed & I moved my sites, I accidentally moved her affiliate link with the 45 cent PPL program to my site……meaning for the past 3 weeks even though I was making $900 bucks a month on this one program, I was sending an additional $800 to her CJ account…….and I was still making a profit!!! OUCH!

Now that I know their program’s been cancelled I looked at my stats further and found out.

Now if I was a heartless bitch I would simply collect my commisson from her when she gets paid…but I’m not going to. She doesn’t even know it’s in there…..CJ pays on the 20th…..She’s going to get an $800 dollar surprise on the 20th of November :-) Don’t you wish you were my friend?

Why would I do this? Simple…I believe………..no,…..I KNOW there’s karma. What goes around comes around, do unto others etc etc., Its true, it works. Do good, it comes back to you, do bad it comes back. Do good with a ‘purpose’ and it comes back in that purpose…..think of it as an investment with a desired return.

So…I’m giving her $800 of my commissoin knowing that this will help my karmic return….and since I have a few goals to accomplish, this will come back to me online ;-) I know how karma works….true to form, I have tested it out in the past a few times and the conversion rate is better than anything I’ve ever promoted :-D

So……if you want to succeed online, first give out something…anything….time, money, help, love,….and secretly focus on what you want in return….you’ll get it.. Trust me…or not… it’s up to you. But I guarantee it works like clockwork.
