Pay per Play Ads Review
December 11, 2007 1:49 am Adsense/Yahoosense/MSeNseI hate Internet marketers. Pay Per Play is the next ‘big thing” that will kill adsense (again) supposedly. And I can’t escape being spammed about it. Of course they reason to be spammed is cos you get a percentage of anyone who signs up under you - of their income from Pay Per Play. Yeah, all i know is that some people think this “might” replace adsesne in terms of popularity & easy income, but…. its too early to tell.
You place it on your site & it plays an annoying 5 second audio clip and you get paid anywhere from $0.001 - $0.007 cents per visitor….LOL!!!
And first payments won’t be till February, and you need to have each site approved first…(which sounds like a hassle for us portal builders)… So it doesn’t sound that great, but of course like anything that can be done on a large scale, scalability is the name of the portal game. So if you’re gonna build lots of sites this might be worth it.
But someone raised a good point - what if the audio scares people off - they hit the ‘back’ button & leave your sire so you dont get to sell them anything….
Google logs how long peeps stay on your sites and rank you negatively accordingly.
Who knows…..
But the link to Pay Per Play should tell you more. Seems they do respond to questions & suggestions, so we’ll see.
The only reason i hope it does well is because google sucks hard. and they need someone to whoop their ass on some kind of basis.
PPP has some potential to make people drop adsense… although it seems you can actually use both.
