Yahoo Overture PPC Update!
October 20, 2005 3:22 pm Pay-Per-Click & Pay-Per-ViewHeh. No more crappy limits on paying for visiors over at Yahoo Search (Overture).
Just got this e-mail from them:
“Dear Sponsored Search Advertiser:
We’ve listened to your feedback and are happy to announce
that we’ve eliminated the $20 monthly minimum spending
requirement for Sponsored Search. Previously, all
Sponsored Search advertisers were required to spend at
least $20 a month in click-through charges. Now, you can
choose to spend as much or as little as you like, with no
minimum to meet.
Thank you for being a Sponsored Search advertiser. We
appreciate your business and hope this change makes
advertising with us even easier. As always, we value your
feedback, so if you have any questions please contact us
using the support request form within your account.
Sincerely,
Your Partners at Yahoo! Search Marketing”
Well that’s great news for all o’ y’all who’ve never dipped into the Yahoo/Overture Pay Per Click Waters. Now’s the time. Spend as little as you want testing.
Power Tip:
If you have any mildly successful Pay per click campaigns on google, take them over to Yahoo Search, and watch your conversions increase. In some cases, you get better conversions, so I would recommend advertising at Yahoo to get the feel for how it works. When you start making a profit, then add more ads, campaigns etc.
